Personal Profile

Enter the Skill Center and be up and running in minutes

EASY TO USE

When you enter the Skill Center a dashboard offers you indicators and shortcuts for the main functions of the system.

The blue color distinguishes the profiling functions. Green for skills assessment functions, red for improvement activities and light blue for contributions to the knowledge base.

The widgets on the dashboard also highlight particular actions requested by your team manager or by the system. With just one click it is possible to respond to surveys on skills or access the management of improvement activities requested by managers. The invitation to contribute to the description of the skills in the catalog, instead, is carried out directly by Skill Center when the user is granted with the level of expert on that same skill.

PROFILING

By entering the Skill Center you will find your profile partially filled out. Fill in the missing data to allow the system to build your first skills portfolio.

In particular, enter your work experiences by searching the catalog for the corresponding job title. In this way Skill Center will be able to make a pre-assessment of your skills. If the job title is not present, enter it manually (Skill Center in this case will not be able to make inferences).

Then enter the language skills: first your native language, then the other languages you know. Your profile is now ready and you can see a summary by opening the summary tab.

SKILL LEVELS

In the Skill Levels tab, you will find all the skills that the system has linked to your professional history. You can add more at any time, especially those related to the technologies you are an expert on.

The evaluations given by the system are derived from the time for which you have held a position and how long you have left it.

For each skill you can indicate the level you believe you will reach on a scale that includes degrees: Unaware, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert.

You will also be able to determine your improvement goals and establish a level to be achieved in a given period of time on the skills that interest you most.

IMPROVEMENT MANAGEMENT

The improvement actions proposed by you, with the corrections and additions made by your manager, constitute the Improvement Agenda.

As you feel you have achieved one of your goals, you can report it to the system. Your manager will verify and validate your result, officially establishing for you a new level of your competence.

Your development path will be visible in the Improvement History tab, while a visual analysis of the areas of expertise you cover will be reported in the Summary tab.

CONTRIBUTIONS

Didn't you find the job title you were looking for in the catalog? Are there any missing technical skills, or do you think you can improve the description of a skill or its assessment checklist?

Contribute to the Skill center knowledge base by submitting your proposal. The knowledge manager can use it to integrate catalogs and make Skill Center a constantly better tool.

The system will always give you feedback on your proposals and will also ask you expressly for those skills of which you have been recognized as an expert!
